In my degree project I investigate whether I can create curtains/separators for public environments using a strict form, whereby I preserve my imaginative expression by building up layers in combination with patterned images. Transparency, color and shadow‑play are all equally important components.
For a long time parts of my work have been accompanied by a world of patterns. I’m fascinated by fantasy worlds and attracted by a naive pictorial language. Color is a strength and an important starting point for my work. I operate at the boundary between design, art, embellishment and functional product concepts.
